This is my first assignment for this project, sent to me from what seems to be God, and let me tell you, curating a musical playlist is not just a task; it’s an epic quest filled with twists and turns, where every note can alter the course of your story. In this life, we are characters in a movie that can weave between any genre, and the hero may or may not end up with their “dream girl.” They might not even return your calls since the last encounter, but remember, you’re always the champion in your own movie. And what does every hero need? Theme music.

From the depths of my creativity, I present to you the playlist. Anytime of day. Anywhere you venture. However you get there… Whenever you arrive.

During this project, I faced the exhilarating challenge of crafting a memorable playlist—one that resonates deeply, as creating a lasting impact is my ultimate goal. Drawing from my eclectic musical palette, I embarked on a journey to sculpt not only my personal daily soundscape but also ours, a collective tapestry for those who aspire to make a difference in the world. I infused the mix with influences from beloved genres and eras, such as Houston’s chopped and screwed and the New Jack Swing era. Even as a child, I was enveloped in an array of Rock songs from the video games I cherished on my PS2, coupled with the Gospel melodies that permeated my church upbringing through my mom’s influence. From the iconic sounds of Prince to the distinctive beats of Nettspend, this compilation celebrates not only the highlights and lowlights of life but also embraces the often-overlooked midlights, all, beautifully articulated through the transformative power of music.
